Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission commercial propane systems, including piping, regulators, and appliances.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and site plans.
  • Conduct system pressure tests, leak detection, and safety inspections.
  • Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and site managers to ensure timely and compliant installations.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, and service work.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards (e.g., CSA B149), and company policies.
  • Provide technical support and training to commercial clients on system operation and safety.
  • Operate and maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
  • Interact with our customers
  • Follow safe work practices
  • Document work performed on service assignments
  • Other duties as required to meet customer/business needs

Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale propane and Natural gas systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC, kitchen equipment, or propane applications.
  • Safety training certifications.
  • Ability to work with other trades on site
  • Provide mentorship to Apprentices
  • Technical training or certification in gas fitting or propane systems preferred.
  • Valid propane installation license or certification (as required by local regulations).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial or industrial propane installation.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial propane systems and safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license;.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
