Position Details:

The incumbent will work closely with the Human Resources Specialist and the President, to ensure smooth organizational function, support planning of employee engagement activities, craft branding for social media platforms, and other ad hoc administrative duties as required to support operational functional.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth organizational function (scheduling of meetings, booking hotel rooms, etc).
  • Provide support to the Human Resources department in planning and advertising employee engagement activities (potlucks, barbeques, winter carnival events, etc).
  • Visit jobsites to collect social media content, showcasing the Valley culture and recruitment opportunities.
  • Create posts for social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department with preparation of new hire kits, creation of monthly newsletter, updating documentation, etc.
  • Other duties as required to support business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite applications, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work 8am-5pm Monday- Friday – some flexibility will be required occasionally to accommodate travel.
