A legacy of brothers dating back to 1974

Our company was established in 1974 by Peter and George Watson in Jacksonville, New Brunswick. While primarily focusing on the grocery store market, the Watson brothers went on to grow their team, resources and service locations. Through impressive skill and old-fashioned hard work, they built one of the largest privately-owned refrigeration and HVAC companies in Atlantic Canada.

In 2014, Valley Refrigeration Group was purchased by another pair of brothers, William and Ed Barrett. With a commitment to continuing the legacy established by the Wastons, the Barretts are leveraging their management experience across a variety of industries to progress the company’s expansion. Now, with a team of 200+ technicians, Valley Refrigeration Group is on a trajectory to become the East Coast’s largest and absolute best refrigeration and HVAC service provider.
